Pump Jacks & Accessories
A favorite construction tool for both the
homeowner and contractor alike. Pump Jack
Scaffolding provides a safe, economical platform
to paint, remodel or put up siding on just about
any type of building.Contractor’s use of this type of scaffolding is
extensively covered by both OSHA and ANSI.
In general, special attention must be given to the
proper selection of the 2" x 4" lumber used to make
up the poles. Set-up instructions and weight limitations
must be followed and observed. Guard Rails and Toeboards
should be used in all cases. Please note that OSHA requires that Pump Jack Scaffold
platforms have a plank that is a minimum of 12 inches wide.
The wooden poles must be spaced no more than 10 feet apart
and no higher than 30 feet.
